Our staff

Support staff visit people in their own homes and offer support as outlined in their agreed plans. They’re committed to treating every person with dignity and respect.

Staff are trained to provide the best support possible to everyone at Clearwater. They give every person the chance to live the kind of life that they want, learn to be more independent and live up to their responsibilities as members of their community.

Leading an independent life can be challenging for anybody, including those with learning disabilities and other needs. Clearwater Care staff encourage individuals to try new experiences and take up any opportunities for education, work and leisure using a positive approach to risk-taking. Staff work with each person to make sure that they have as much control over their decisions as possible. They also make sure that people who can’t self-advocate have the opportunity to work with an independent advocate.

Staff give feedback on progress and support people to plan next steps in developing their independence. Staff will offer information and a range of options to each person at each stage of their support, which will help them lead more enriching and independent lives.
